DON as a Risk Leader Webinar with M3 Insurance

When:  Jun 18, 2026 from 12:00 to 13:00 (CT)

In today’s post-acute environment, risk is rarely the result of a single event—it is the outcome of patterns in leadership decision-making over time. This session provides a focused overview of how clinical, regulatory, and legal risk actually develops within skilled nursing facilities, and the critical role the Director of Nursing (DON) plays in stabilizing it.

Through the lens of a real-life claim, participants will examine how breakdowns in early recognition, consistency of response, and follow-through contribute to adverse outcomes, citations, and liability exposure. The session will also highlight how surveyors, insurance carriers, and plaintiff attorneys evaluate leadership actions as patterns—not isolated incidents.

Designed for practical application, this presentation equips attendees with tactical strategies and actionable next steps they can immediately implement in their communities to improve consistency, strengthen clinical decision-making, and create more defensible systems of care.
